We were so excited to introduce the Arbor difference to the Acworth community, that we recently held an open house event full of live demonstrations of our new programs, dining, and award-winning services and amenities so people could come in and experience the difference for themselves.
One of the things we are most excited about bringing to Arbor Terrace is our innovative Bridges program. Bridges is a unique neighborhood created for seniors living with the beginning phases of cognitive decline or dementia. It is a great option for residents who need a more supportive environment, but aren’t quite ready for standard memory care.
Our community also offers the Tovertafel (magic table). Tover, as we like to call it, is an award-winning technology from the Netherlands that was designed specifically to stimulate and engage people living with mid-to-late stage dementia. Tover helps residents engage with friends and family, stimulates the brain, and has been scientifically-proven to improve quality of life.
Another new program we are excited to offer at Arbor Terrace is Fit Minds. This innovative cognitive stimulation program is designed to keep the brain sharp, engaged, and agile through interactive group or one-on-one sessions. Residents are able to explore new interests, develop talents, and build confidence, all while enhancing their overall well-being with our certified cognitive wellness coaches.
Our updated Arbor fitness program just won the McKnight’s Tech Award for combining cutting-edge AI technology with certified fitness instructors to provide the optimum wellness experience at our onsite gym. Our residents love that it adapts to their level of fitness and helps them meet their personal goals. Whether maintaining a certain weight, or keeping active for the grandkids, our fitness program is flexible to their unique needs.
Arbor Terrace also offers SingFit—a music therapy program that has a scientifically-proven benefit to people experiencing memory loss or dementia. SingFit is designed to use technology to deliver music as medicine in memory care. Backed by sound data, SingFit has been featured by Forbes, Billboard, and Fast Company to name a few.
