A Wonderful Community with Caring Staff
Our family has been very pleased with the care and support our loved one has received at Arbor Terrace Lakeway in Bridges for the past nine months. From my initial visit to move-in, Penny and Lori were incredibly helpful in guiding us through the process. Although every transition is unique, the administrative staff helped to ensure a warm, welcoming and stress-free transition. The initial assessment and reassessment are also very thorough.
The care staff is attentive, compassionate, and truly dedicated to the well-being of the community and residents. Some of the staff I have met in the past nine months who really shine: Belinda, Chrissy, Desiree, Rogelio, Serena. It is reassuring to know our loved one is cared for by staff who treat residents with kindness and patience. Dava and Kathy at the front desk are always friendly and helpful.
Jae in maintenance does a fantastic job of keeping the community clean. The maintenance team is quick to address any concerns. George is always ready to drive residents around.
Overall, we are grateful for the dedication of everyone at Arbor Terrace Lakeway. I highly recommend this community for any family looking for a safe and supportive place for their loved one.
My mom has been there since [date removed]. She started in memory care but thankfully she was reevaluated after 30 days and was moved to assisted living in mid-January. I have been there almost daily over the last two months. There are so many good things- the common areas are always sparkling clean, the lobby is open and bright, the dining room is efficient (and the food is pretty good), the gym is nice and open, and there are daily events and programming for the residents. But the real story is the staff! I would assume that most places would have high turnover, but I've seen the same faces over the last two months. Everyone (and I mean EVERYONE) is kind and outgoing. The receptionists are amazing, the activity director is funny and always trying to get residents involved, the med techs and support staff know the residents' names and their needs, the servers in the dining room usually know what to bring for the regular residents, the nurses are kind, and overall, it's just a warm, friendly, and fun environment!
We moved my mother-in-law to Arbor Terrace Lakeway in September 2024 after needing to increase the level of her care in a safe, nurturing memory care community. We researched five facilities in the area, and it was evident that Arbor Terrace Lakeway was the right choice.
From our first meeting with Stephanie L., we felt an immediate connection. She gave us a tour of the Bridges section of memory care, and we were struck by the warm, welcoming community. Every Director, Caregiver, Med-Tech, Engagement Coordinator, and Activities Coordinator made it feel like home.
We are on a first-name basis with the staff and have direct contact numbers in case of any urgent needs. After seven months, we still stand by our decision—this will be my mother-in-law’s forever home until God calls her home.
The family activities and engagement are excellent, and the food—truly delicious! We especially love that we can dine together as a family in the main entrance restaurant, making it feel like a true dining experience.
Any concerns we have are promptly addressed, and the care and attention my mother-in-law receives give us complete peace of mind. Arbor Terrace Lakeway isn’t just a facility—it’s a community filled with compassion, dignity, and genuine love for its residents. We couldn’t ask for more.
