Although our residents and staff at Arbor Terrace Asheville were greatly impacted by Hurricane Helene, they never lost their spirit!

After five days without power, water and internet, residents rallied together and even found time to sing. In fact, a group of residents were singing the exact moment the lights came back on at Arbor Terrace, and while the group was surprised and excited…they just kept singing!

It is a sweet and powerful moment that illustrates the resilience of our Asheville community. Watch the full video by clicking here.

Like the rest of Asheville, Arbor Terrace faced days of hardships in the aftermath of the hurricane. Our staff is trained and prepared for emergencies, and was able to rally and continue to care for our residents without power, water or internet for days.

These stories of perseverance and grit in the face of the unknown are what give people hope in difficult times. The strength of our team echoes the strength of Asheville as we work to rebuild and move forward, together.
