Executive Director
Lori is a Registered Nurse and Certified Dementia Practitioner who understands the clinical and psychosocial needs of our residents. She’s passionate about serving seniors – including her own parents -- and skilled in supporting families transition loved ones into senior communities. Lori lives in Passaic County and has two children.
Community Sales Director
Trevor joined the world of senior living after a career in private event sales and planning for luxury hotels and country clubs. He understands being part of a community and what ‘lifestyle living’ is all about, and his creative background further enhances the events and marketing we do at Arbor Terrace. He is a resident of Morris County, and enjoys spending his time with loved ones.
Community Sales Director
Amanda started her career in senior living as an activity coordinator. She was drawn to the senior living industry after her own grandmother moved into an assisted living community and knew she wanted to be someone that residents could love and count on. As she transitioned into her role as a Community Sales Director, her commitment to helping residents and their families grew stronger, and she is grateful to help guide families to become part of the Arbor Family.
Resident Care Director
Bijal is a dedicated healthcare professional, laying the foundation for her career with a Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery. Serving as a medical officer in various multi-specialty hospitals across different states, she gained extensive experience and honed her skills in patient care, eventually earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from New Jersey City University. As a licensed healthcare provider, Bijal is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of others, and promoting health awareness and spiritual well-being within the community.
Memory Care Director
Mary Laverty, LPN joined the Arbor Terrace team in 2018. A nurse for over 10 years, Mary has been recently been promoted to Memory Care Director of our Evergreen neighborhood. Mary looks forward to enriching the lives of our residents and their families with her hands-on approach and proactive communication style. Mary loves to fill her free time with concerts, theater, and travel. She currently resides in Morris County with her children.
Engagement Director
Karen Bowman joined Arbor Terrace Morris Plains in the summer of 2023 and immediately felt at home with the residents, families, and staff. A lifelong resident of Morris Plains, Karen watched the building take shape and now finds it surreal to see so many familiar faces from town choosing to live in this wonderful, family-oriented assisted living community. With a lifelong passion for senior activities, Karen is thrilled to be part of such a fabulous team!
Dining Director
Angela began her career in dining in 1997 when she first arrived in the United States from Colombia. She has worked as a chef in a religious teacher community and shortly thereafter began her career serving seniors in assisting living communities in West Orange and Morristown NJ. Angela resides in Boonton, NJ and is married with three wonderful kids, Juan, Daniel, and Ana.
Maintenance Director
William is a seasoned maintenance professional with 35 years of experience in his field, including a remarkable 14 years working in senior living communities. Before joining the Arbor team, he served as a superintendent, managing multiple HUD buildings, as well as a state boiler and HVAC inspector. He is passionate about working with seniors because he feels he can make a difference in their lives. Outside of work, William enjoys anything related to physical fitness, is an avid bowler, and loves to visit amusement parks with his family.
