Relationships Matter Here

Relationships are the cornerstone of our senior living community. We emphasize creating meaningful relationships—we call them deep connections—with staff, residents, and family members. As we get to know our residents more thoroughly, we can adapt their programs and assistance to more accurately meet their needs and preferences.

Life Is Better Here

For more than 30 years, The Arbor Company has been dedicated to providing the luxurious lifestyle and amenities that keep seniors feeling their best.

Christopher Dale

Executive Director

Christopher found his calling in senior living after caring for his grandfather. Over the past 20 years, he has opened senior living communities, created innovative programming, and successfully lead teams to provide best-in-class services. In his free time, Christopher enjoys cycling throughout Highland Park and hiking along the beach.

Jeff Altschul

Community Sales Director

Jeff studied journalism while at Columbia College and believes everyone has a very captivating story, which he is able to explore with all potential and current residents and families. Jeff has been with Arbor Terrace since day one of the transition and takes a lot of pride in being a part of the new start for the community. As he lives in the neighborhood, he had the pleasure of watching the development of the community from when the first brick was placed until today. He savors the opportunity to be a part of its evolution and growth. Although he has only worked in long-term care for nine years, working with seniors comes naturally for Jeff, as he has a very warm and affectionate relationship with his grandparents and holds great admiration for them. Jeff is very invested in the surrounding Highland Park community as he has two daughters who attend school at Highland Park High School. He enjoys playing basketball, working in the garden, and spending all his remaining time with family.

Kate has been in the healthcare field for eight years, starting as a CNA in a memory care unit where she fell in love with helping the people who need her the most. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2013, and her Practical Nurse License in 2019. She is a Certified Dementia Practitioner, a Certified Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Trainer, and a Certified Dementia Care Manager. Her goal is to turn every moment with her residents into an opportunity for connection and meaning. When she’s not at work, she enjoys kayaking, hiking, and baking vegan cookies.

Jeff has been so responsive to our questions about making Arbor Terrace our dad's next home. With great excitement, he will be moving in soon, and we could not be happier for him!

We were looking into a place for my father-in-law either as a month “respite” or perhaps permanently. We were very impressed with the modern clean facilities there. Lots of different activities & specialty areas including a space to get PT or OT in-house.
