Beverly brings joy! A beautiful grand piano along with a big box of music sheets were donated to our community from resident Beverly Bryant. It was a gift that she gave us when she moved in. This gift keeps on giving but before we explain how, let's get to know this beautiful and generous human being.
Beverly was born December 12th in Atlanta, Georgia. She grew up on the south side of town and has one brother who served stateside in the Vietnam War. Beverly went to school at East Point High and attended Atlanta Christian College. She met her husband during her first year in college in 1956. They've been married for 65 years. They have 3 boys (Andy, Ed, and Joe), seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
She worked as a secretary for many years for different businesses and also worked at the State Capital for four years. She got to travel and teach nationally and became the first woman from Georgia to be elected National President of the Women’s Council of Realtors in 1987. In one year she made 53 trips to different states. She retired after working in real estate for 47 years.
Beverly was also on the board of trustees at Christian City for 12 years. She taught Sunday School and Men’s Group In church. Beverly's skills also include singing, directing a choir and playing the piano. Speaking of piano, Beverly lives across the multi-purpose room, where the piano and music sheets are placed. Whenever anyone uses her piano, it brings her much happiness. Her gift to us keeps on giving because her piano and music have brought so much joy and happiness to everyone that hears it!
Beverly herself is a gift that keeps on giving as she participates in choir and is always seen with a beautiful smile on her face. We are blessed to have her with us at Arbor Terrace Peachtree City!
