Dori Phillips has lived in Peachtree City, GA since 1996. She has two sons, ages 21 and 24, and has had Golden Retrievers since she moved here. Originally from the Bronx, NY, Dori grew up in Garrison, NY directly across the Hudson River from West Point.

Dori earned a B.S. in Business Administration from SUNY Albany and has an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. Her career spanned 35 years and was primarily in sales, marketing and operations. Her favorite job was as a Territory Manager at Weight Watchers International for 18 years.

Last spring, Dori decided to leave a position she had at a customs brokerage house in Atlanta and work in a simpler and less stressful environment. She joined Arbor Terrace's Dining Department as a server and loved getting to know all the residents and staff. Her husband Chris also works at Arbor Terrace in the Maintenance department. She loves to dress up for all of our theme dinners, and has the best personality when it comes to hospitality and customer service. She’s been Employee of the Month twice since she started working here, and she was our last Meet Your Neighbor guest speaker, for which there was a full house.

Recently, Dori was promoted to the Staff Coordinator in assisted living and will help schedule and hire resident care staff. Residents will miss her in the dining room but will still get a chance to see her on the second floor where her office is. We are sure blessed to have Dori working here at Arbor Terrace Peachtree City!
