We are so happy to welcome our new Resident Care Director, Yoko Daniel!

Yoko was born in Japan and raised in Columbus, Ohio, where her father worked for Honda. She has also lived in Catlettsburg, Kentucky; Tulsa, Oklahoma; League City, Texas and eventually landed in Peachtree City in May of last year.

Although Yoko has lived in the U.S. most of her life, her parents made sure she stayed connected to her Japanese culture. The Japanese culture has a strong history of dedicated care and time to its aging population. That is why it means so much for Yoko to serve her parents, loved ones, and the elderly.

Yoko shared with us, "I understand the decision to move your loved ones to a senior living is hard enough. With the help of the great tenured staff at Arbor Terrace of Peachtree City, my goal as the new Resident Care Director is to give them the best retirement from whatever professional life, or family life they may have come from. To ease the concerns of the family and always keep open communication with all of you. My 15 plus years of Nursing experience has been with Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Skilled Nursing. There is nothing more rewarding than to know that I am making a difference in someone's life. Thank you for entrusting your loved ones to us. I am so very blessed to be here and hope to meet each of you!"

Yoko is blessed with a loving husband and three wonderful children ages 6, 8, and 17. If you see Yoko around the community, be sure to say “Konnichiwa”!
