Rosemarie Miller was born and raised on a Caribbean island in Portland, Jamaica. At a young age, Rosemarie faced adversity because her dad passed away when she was only seven months old.  Despite the challenge of losing her father, she enjoyed a comfortable childhood and migrated to the United States in 1989. She came to Georgia in 2005 with her family, which consists of her husband and two daughters who are now 28 & 32 years old. Rosemarie also has two grandchildren, ages two and five. They are her pride and joy!

Rosemarie had this to say about receiving this prestigious award, "I am honored, elated and humbled to be chosen as the Arbor Star of the Year. This I don't take lightly. I have been working here for eight years with a year off. This award was not easy or swift to get. I have experienced challenges along the way that made me want to cave in and quit. God had a better purpose for my life and it keeps me here to serve. Working at Arbor Terrace has taught me patience, self control and perseverance. I cannot think of a better place to work! The love and support that I received from management, my team members and the residents, I will always cherish!

To all my team members, you are all deserving of this award. Keep on serving with the best of your ability. It will not go unnoticed. In conclusion, we are all caregivers. We are here to LISTEN, RESPOND and CARE. We are all caregivers who are here to listen, respond and care. Looking forward to a great year!"

We are humbled to have such a bright light on our team and excited to celebrate all the wonderful gifts she brings to our community.  Rosemarie, we are so proud of you.
