Dream Flights landed at Gwinnett County Airport to honor senior veterans who have served their country. The nonprofit selected Arbor Terrace Hamilton Mill veterans as a part of their mission to give back to those who have served. Dream Flights pilots, who fly for major airlines and are active duty or retired military veterans themselves, volunteer their time to fly these veterans in the country's largest fleet of Stearman biplanes.

Veterans take flight in 20-minute intervals in a WWII-era open cockpit biplane. Feeling the adrenaline rush of taking flight brings back a wave of emotions, taking veterans on a nostalgic journey through the skies.

  • Friends and families gathered to witness this heartwarming tribute, making it an extraordinary event for everyone involved. Following the flight, the veterans received a signed Dream Flights baseball hat and friends and families gathered around the Stearman for a group photo with the pilot. A few weeks after the flight, veterans who participated will also receive an official certificate in the mail.
