The State Botanical Garden of Georgia boasts sprawling natural beauty all year long. But this stunning collection of living art is more than just a work of beauty. It’s an ongoing horticultural project, with experts from around the world coming to Georgia to learn about native species, preserve endangered plants, and understand the botany of some of the world’s most delicate species. • The Alice H. Richards Children’s Garden introduces children to native species in Georgia, conservation, and the importance of plants in human life. Check out story time and other ongoing events. 
  
  
• The Flower Garden is a must-visit for lovers of blooms of all sizes and shapes. Featuring a colorful annual garden as well as voluminous perennials, this is the best place in Georgia to see daffodils in spring. 
  
  
• The Heritage Garden offers a living tour of Georgia’s plant history. Check out heirloom plants, antique roses, and a vision of what gardens of a bygone era looked like. 
  
  
• The Horticulture Greenhouses are areas for propagating unique and endangered species, including tropical plants.
