Cynthia Smith

Executive Director

Cynthia Smith serves as our Executive Director with over 15 years of experience in senior living. Her journey began in 2004 at The Veranda, an all-memory care community, and she has held leadership roles across various Arbor Company communities since then. After moving back to the Atlanta area in 2011, Cynthia rejoined Arbor Terrace in 2014 and ultimately became Executive Director in 2019. Passionate about creating joy for residents and families, she loves working on behalf of seniors. When not at work, Cynthia and her family can be found cheering on football or enjoying a game at Top Golf!

Lisa Hatton

Community Sales Director

Lisa Hatton, our Community Sales Director, has 24 years of experience in senior living. Originally from Tampa, FL, Lisa moved to Georgia in 2015 and joined Camellia Place in Woodstock, helping the community flourish from the ground up for eight years. She then transitioned to Dogwood Forest in Acworth, continuing her dedication to serving seniors. Lisa loves working with seniors because she believes she makes a positive difference in their lives and the lives of their families every day. In her free time, she enjoys eating Mexican food and taking her yellow Labrador Retriever to the dog park.

Lorrie Bazzell

Resident Care Director

Lorrie Bazzell is a compassionate and dedicated nurse with over 40 years of experience in the healthcare field. Known for her unwavering commitment and empathetic approach, she has been a lifelong advocate for the elderly, ensuring they receive the respect, care, and dignity they deserve. Her passion for helping others extends beyond her professional role, as she finds immense joy in supporting and nurturing those around her. Outside of work, Lorrie cherishes time spent with her family, which includes four children, ten grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren who bring her endless happiness and keep her young at heart.

Dealdra Benson

Dining Director

Dealdra Benson has 16 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, beginning her career in the casino industry, where she spent eight years honing her skills. During that time, she served as a Line Cook in a Paula Deen Buffet, a Pastry Chef, and a Master Cook in a Fine Dining Steakhouse. After moving to Georgia eight years ago, Dealdra transitioned into the assisted living industry, where she discovered her passion for caring for others through food. She has now worked in assisted living for six years, starting as a Lead Cook and working her way up into leadership roles. Dealdra is dedicated to bringing joy and comfort to residents through her culinary expertise, ensuring every meal is prepared with care and quality.

Rick S. Baldwin

Maintenance Director

Rick S. Baldwin, our Director of Maintenance, brings 40 years of experience spanning construction, maintenance, nursing, and senior care, with 9 of those years focused on senior living. His journey began over a decade ago when he placed his mother in memory care here and instantly felt at home. Since then, he has served in various roles, including Senior Care Manager Lead, Medtech, and Maintenance Technician. Rick sees our residents  as his extended family and is passionate about making a difference in their lives. In his personal life, Rick enjoys woodworking and spending time with his musically talented loved ones. Whether crafting with his hands or building Lego kits alongside his children, he values every moment of family time.
