Meet our friendly resident, Doris! She is 100 years young and a joy to have at Arbor Terrace Citrus Park.
Prior to retirement, Doris had a career as a NASA B-29 Wing Assembly Detailer and Medical Assistant. Doris enjoys daily activities at Arbor Terrace Citrus Park like sitting on her balcony and bird watching, while enjoying the view of the pond. Doris also enjoys many hobbies including walking around the community, reading the USA Times daily with a cup of coffee, doing crossword puzzles, and reading mystery murder novels.
When asked what advice she has for those considering a move to senior living, Doris responded, “Go with the flow even if it is not your choice to move into a senior facility. You might think you want to be alone or in your own big house, but that responsibility becomes too much as you start to slow down.”
Doris’ favorite thing about senior living is the opportunity to meet new friends. The connections she makes with residents and staff make her happy to call Arbor Terrace Citrus Park home.
