We remain committed to providing proactive communication with residents, families, and staff. Ahead of and during severe weather events, we will update this page as we have new information to share. We will also send periodic updates via automated telephone calls to residents' emergency contacts.

We are actively preparing for Hurricane Milton. Our generator is fueled up, and we have a supply of emergency food and water on hand. As with other hurricanes, we plan to shelter in place, as we are outside of any predicted storm surge areas.

Our sister community, Barrington Terrace of Fort Myers, is on the west coast and has received mandatory evacuation orders due to the storm surge threat. The residents from that community will be traveling to The Preserve at Palm-Aire tomorrow afternoon to temporarily ride out the storm in the safety of our community. Our team is working to get ready for their arrival, and I hope you will join me in providing a warm Preserve welcome to these individuals after a long bus ride from Fort Myers tomorrow.
