The Preserve at Palm-Aire recently hosted an intimate ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the senior living community's completely renovated Evergreen memory care neighborhood and all-new Bridges neighborhood.
Pompano Beach Mayor Rex Hardin, along with other local officials and senior care professionals, were in attendance. Following the ribbon cutting, attendees had the opportunity to tour the community. For the safety of residents and all in attendance, masks were required, and social distancing measures were in place.Providing residents with a continuum of care, The Preserve at Palm-Aire also now offers a Bridges program for residents living with early stages of Alzheimer’s disease or other types of dementia. A new and unique approach to senior communities in the area, the Bridges program ensures these residents receive the right mix of care and engagement while maintaining their independence in a safe neighborhood among other seniors living with similar forms of dementia.
The renovated Evergreen memory care neighborhood serves residents with more advanced stages of cognitive decline.
“We have residents who are living with the early stages of dementia and some who are more advanced," said Melanie White, executive director for The Preserve at Palm-Aire. "The new Evergreen neighborhood is a unique way that we can provide everyone with the just-right programming they need to live fulfilled days.”
