Argentum’s Best of the Best Awards recognize innovative new programs and services that are working to improve the future of senior living. The Arbor Company has received this honor for its training and mentorship program, Arbor Grows.
The Arbor Grows program was created to improve hiring, training and maintaining an excellent senior living workforce by enhancing recruitment, providing opportunities for mentorship and development, and preparing and placing Arbor people in advanced positions of leadership within the company.
Since implementing the Arbor Grows training and mentorship program, participants have enjoyed career growth, increased wages, stronger relationships with industry leaders, and critical employee assistance through WorkWell services. Graduates of the program leave with a roadmap for career growth, and are taking advantage of opportunities for promotion and earning potential. Results show that employees feel greater support in their roles, and allow them more freedom to serve residents with exceptional senior care. The Arbor Company is looking forward to expanding the program due to these initial and promising results.
“This program is exceptional because it provides greater opportunities for our Arbor people, and directly impacts the level of care we are able to provide our residents and their families at the same time,” said Judd Harper, President of The Arbor Company. “We are honored to be recognized along with these other great organizations as the best in our industry, and look forward to continuing to provide award-winning senior care solutions for our people and for the communities we serve.”
The Arbor Company was one of five companies recognized by Argentum this year, with others including CarePredict, Senior Living Communities, Merrill Gardens, and Retirement Unlimited, Inc.
All award winners will be profiled in the June/July issue of Senior Living Executive magazine, set to be published in mid-July.
